Californians Come to Visit!

This week, Darrin brother Kevin and wife Valerie and thier 4 kids came to visit from California!

A Trip to the Cottage

A few weeks ago, Darrin/ Daddy took Loudon and Brennus to the cottage in NS for 4 days! They had a great time. Here are some pictures from their adventures...Enjoy!

A visit to New Ross Farm. The boys called me from here. Brennus said he was looking at the sheep, but it was really a pig.Here's a mama and her babies at the farm. Ouch! Poor gal!

A School Birthday for Loudon

Loudon's school had a birthday celebration for him a bit early, because school will be over before his real birthday. Actually, to accommodate all the kids with summer b-days, they will be having a birthday celebration ever day in June! Fun fun!

Here's Mommy/Gail doing some drawing with Loudon. That's one of Loudon's teachers, Jericha, in the pink top.Loudon stood in the centre of the group, standing next to the month of JUNE. He held the earth and walked around the SUN that was on the floor. As he walked around we sang, "The earth circles the sun, the earth circles the sun, the earth circles the sun and Loudon was one."
A poster featuring pics of Loudon from birth to present was circulated around the room for all the kids to see.

Another teacher, Mrs. MacDonald, lit a candle after each year.

Darrin's folks were here the night before Loudon's party, so they helped us prepare this watermelon head for his special birthday snack.

The Booga Booga head of kabobs was a great success and the kids gobbled them all up!

A Birthday Party

Last week the boys went to Liam's birthday party. It was a quite a fun time.

Buiding the Barn

Darrin got a good start on our new barn. He and I put up the pre-built walls in about an hour and it was already beginning to take shape. Stay tuned for more pics soon. The walls and roof have already been added.
