Here's Loudon holding Peachie for the first time on Christmas morning.

He just can't believe that Santa brought him a puppy!! Wow! He named her Peaches after Princess Peach from Mario Brothers, but then mid-way through the day he decided to give the name 'Cookie' a try, but by the end of the day he was back to calling her Peaches- Peachie, actually.

This is Brennus getting a big kiss from Peachie, on top of his new Teddy bear. It's hard to tell which is the teddy bear and which is the puppy.

Santa Brought a Puppy!!

Santa brought a puppy for the boys for Christmas! She's a cut little ball of fur, a Maltese-Shitzu mix, 3 months old and very very loving and mellow. She loves the kids already and they love her, especially Loudon.

Brennus' B-day Celebration at School

Brennus had a special celebration at school for his birthday. He holds the globe and stands at the month he was born- December. The teacher, Mrs. Lavern asks the kids what Brennus could do at each age.

The kids sing..."The earth circles the sun, the earth circles the sun, the earth circles the sun and Brennus was one!"...as Brennus carries the globe around the sun. After each year a candle is lit. At the end we sang happy birthday and Brennus blew out the candles.

Marie and Seamus visit.

We were so glad to have a wee visit with Marie and Seamus before they headed back to Toronto last Tuesday. Of course, we couldn't nail the kids down for much of a photo, but I got this great candid shot. Here's Seamus with a sword, and Brennus with a magic wand- ha!

Museum of Natural History, Halifax

While in Halifax, we went to the Museum of Natural History. The boys know it well!

This was a miniature dentist office set-up at the museum. It's pretty obvious that Brennus has not had a filling yet!
