Loudon's School Days Begin....

Loudon started school at the Island Montessori School on Monday. We just got his uniform yesterday so he is all set. Everything is going well and he is having a great time. We enjoy the projects they have been working on already. He is learning about islands and shellfish. One day they opened a real oyster and then made a craft of it complete with a pearl.

To our surprise, it is Brennus going through the biggest adjustment, today is the first day that he didn't cry after saying good-bye to his big brother.

Grandma and Loudon

It is so nice to have mom do bedtime with Loudon and read his stories to him. Such a nice break for me. We'll be heading back to PEI in the morning and hopefully by Monday Darrin will be back to resume bedtime- ha ha.

Uncle David's Cool Truck

This is Uncle David's (my dad's brother) cool truck. It is a 1955 Chevrolet and is a beauty.

Uncle David and Dad (Jim) looking like proud brothers! David restored the truck over the past couple of years and dad helped him with some of the restoration.

It's always surprising to find out what might interest a 4 year old little boy. He found a stack of Grandma's romance novels and played with them for a few days. Here, he's [pretending] reading the one with the "prince and princess" on the cover and insisted that I read it to him too...
