Darrin Shaved His Head!

Yep, he did!
Last year, after Darrin's b-day in July, he decided he was going to grow his hair for a year (just for something to do). Half-way through the year he decided, when his hair got long enough (7" or longer) he would donate it to a charity for kids wigs (http://www.achildsvoicefoundation.com/angelhair_donations.asp). So, today was the day.

I guess we've both been finding ways to help children who need help. (And as I told Darrin, I guess the experts can take out the grey hair! lol)

Too Cold to Play

It was snowing here again today- what's up with that?? No fair- we're not in the arctic anymore!
We got Loudon a sandbox last weekend when Grandma and Grandpa were visiting but it has been too cold to play outside since then. But Loudon gave it a good try today while Brennus was napping.

We got snow last night. I'm hoping our plants make it through. With any luck it will be gone in a few hours.
I quess we won't be needing this sunblock today.
